What is My Voice Score?
My Voice Score is an educational voice analyzer for speaking practice. Record or upload up to 15 seconds of audio, enter your email, and receive a free preview. Analysis runs on our servers and usually takes several minutes. Results appear on the page and in your inbox.
How are the scores produced?
The analysis pipeline uses Praat/Parselmouth for acoustic measurements, Whisper for transcription, and Silero VAD to estimate speech and silence. Application scoring rules combine these signals into 0–100 indicators. These indicators describe a recording; they are not a clinical diagnosis or a validated measure of a person's health or ability.
Acoustic measurements include pitch, jitter, shimmer, harmonics-to-noise ratio and cepstral peak prominence. Read the acoustic metrics guide for explanations. Use the voice test for audio analysis; the pitch calculator requires measurements you enter yourself.

Which language should I use?
The current transcription pipeline is configured for English. Use spoken English for transcript-dependent scores such as pace, filler control and pronunciation. It is not a language proficiency test, accent ranking or certification.
How do I get a useful comparison?
Use a quiet room, a consistent microphone distance and the same short spoken passage. Stay within the 15-second limit. Noise, clipping, very little speech, music and transcription errors can affect scores. Re-record if the transcript does not match what you said; a changed score alone does not prove improvement or decline.
What do health, fatigue and risk labels mean?
These are educational labels based on acoustic patterns in this sample. Higher fatigue-related scores mean less estimated fatigue. They do not establish a medical condition, recovery time or fitness to work. The test cannot replace a qualified professional's assessment. See the medical disclaimer.
